PDF’s of reading material to download

All these chapters from the textbook, Book Typography, A Designer’s Manual, Mitchell & Wightman – 2005, are available for students in DES 123. Please give a couple of minutes for each PDF to download. Most average about 4 to 7 mgs. each in size.
Each chapter begins with a contents page, and these chapters – or parts, represent just a portion of the entire book. There are many comparative examples of type layouts and settings throughout the text (each highlighted with a pastel yellow background). One can talk at length about typography, but nothing measures the benefit of viewing examples first hand. Please let me know if you have any trouble downloading any of this material.
